Jamie Bonkowski, Ed.D.

Owner and Consultant

Jamie Bonkowski is an accomplished educator with a wealth of experience spanning various educational settings and roles. She seeks to leverage her professional skills and contribute innovative ideas for the growth of educators and students within a dynamic, professional environment.

Experience: 

Jamie has been an educator for over 20 years and has taught in Elementary, Middle and High School settings.  She has taught Exceptional Education, English, History and Vocational Agriculture and has also worked with the Tennessee Department on Education to facilitate state-wide training for educators on Literacy and SRSD Writing Intervention. She is currently serving as an instructional coach-responsible for Special Education, ELA and History, and RTI. 

She has presented numerous PD and workshops on Mentoring New Teachers, Distributed Leadership and empowering teacher leaders, new teacher mentor programs, teacher supports, and best practices to use in the classroom. 

Jamie has also written and published articles on teacher mentors, distributed leadership, school culture and climate. 

She has 2 books in the process of being published: more information to come.
